8th Grade Home Page
8th grade is a time for students to prepare for high school.
Take courses which will put you firmly on the college track.
That means taking algebra in 8th grade, and geometry in 9th grade. By doing that, you'll be prepared for the advanced courses you can take in high school, such as chemistry, physics, trigonometry and Advanced Placement courses.
Algebra and Geometry will also give you the skills you need to succeed on college entrance exams.
