One important item in your college application will be letters of recommendation from your teachers. Start thinking about who you might ask to write letters.
Focus on becoming a leader in an extracurricular activity. You may want to run for a student government office or work on the school newspaper or yearbook. It will be good experience for you and will help make your resume shine.
